Dear Michael Jordran:
There are so many things I could say about you and so many reasons why I admire you , but the main thing Iwant to tell you is that when I was growing up , you were everything to me . I followed your career with the Chicago Bull religiously , and you were the person who made me want to play basketball . You were a god in a basketball uniiform .
You were such an influence all over the world , but affter I transferred to MT.Zion Christian Academy in North Carolina for my senior season , Iwas able to play in the state where you learned the game . I am not suer if you remember , but I met you back then when I was 17years old . We juat had a basic conversation , but it really meant a lot to me be able to talk to my heri and have you treat me just like anyone else.
Then I was nanmed North Carolina`s Player of the year by the Associated Press and jumped right to the NBA That gave me an oupportunity to play my first year in the League while you were still playing . Playing on the floor as you really meant a lot .
And now you`ve come back , talking about the challenges of playing against the younger players , like Kobe Bryant and me . Now . I`ve always liked playing the WizardS I made my firt career start against them but now playing against Washington will be ecen more special.
I saw you at All-Star last year in Washington,DC, but I`ve never really gotten to tell you all that you have meant to young basketball players my age . You`ve ererything to us . You still do!
