y father loves birds, so he always keeps a bird as a pet. Take care of it and listens to it every morning. I just considered birds as a kind of animal. I know as dogs or cats, birds has its own thoughts and feelings. So I think the things happened in my family worth saying.
The first time I take an eye on birds because of a strange and funny bird. It’s very large, and it’s called myna. That means he can talk like human being, but he can’t think like a human. Every morning I hearhim say good morning to my mother, or sometimes say “Have you eaten yet?”. He makes us laugh,and neighbors like to talk to him as well. He also makes strange voices such as closing a door’s sound and my grandpa’s cough. At that time, there’s always a lot of people outside my home trying to talk to him, and kids like him very much. Something happened those days, one summer night, a thief broke into my home and stole something. This seemed nothing to do with the myna. But mom thought the bird attracted too many people. Just because he is too smart. I didn’t say a word, they sent it away.

Long after that, I got interested in a lovely little bird, I don’t know what kind it is and I don’t know whether it’s a girl or not. It can’t talk, but she sings well. Mom and dad said it worth a lot of money. I don’t care about money.but I think I like the bird. It’s a very good kid and she listens to my father. Dad often let her out of her cage and flying free in the room. She looks around like a stranger, shakes her head and seems very carefully stepping into my room. In the daytime she spends most of her time flying in the room. As soon as dad calls her(he shows her one of his fingers) she flys towards him and lands on is finger, dad also likes her very much. She follows him everywhere he goes. Dad told me because some reason she lost a toe, so she can’t land very safely. She follows my father’s feet everywhere,not flying, just walking. So father must be very carefully not to step on her. The story can’t be all peaceful and nice. One day, father wants to get something and forget that she is right behind her, so the saddest thing happened, when father realized he stepped on something, he found her lying on the floor and shaking, that’s really terrible. I know she’s dying. I heard them talking this morning, “just one day or two” they said. She doesn’t sing or eat any more. But at midnight, I heard her singing, I don’t know if I’m in my dream or not. But I heard her singing.

dad bought a new baby bird yesterday.
