no no no!
i mean. it';s really difficult for you to read the first english book.like cold mountain is actually the first english book i read. like hp i';ve already read the chinese version so it';s actually not the same. i spent 2 month on it and many time i just want to give up. well, yeas, cold mountain is bit of high-level book, but wat u need to do is to pick up a book that suit ur level, and keep reading, never give up, u will found it';s easy to read english books after u finish the first one!
like for the shopaoholic series(they got 3 books in a series) i just spent no more than 3 weeks!
i am now reading the lovely bones and the wasp factory. i will write about these books l8er.

so good, just finished it, so beautiful, yet so sad....
found a movie that came out about it in 2003, featuring Scarlett Johanson, not sure want to watch it, though, it might just ruin the novel for me...

i hvn't read it. but it's a very good series.
im reading the constant gardener at the moment.
i read the memoirs of a geisha. such a good book
and a child called it...so touching...poor child.

我保证，电影绝对不会让你失望的。全片的色调美得像油画一样，女佣和画家之间若即若离的感情，渗透在各个小细节中，十分耐人寻味——很难想象书要怎样表现这种留白的张力。而且，片中的Scarlett也是极美的，面如珍珠啊。
