Chapter 1
  Oddly enough, I have never felt to like someone before, I’m a cool girl, everything is cool for me, even if someone just been with me only a few hours, they’d describe me with only a word-cold. I’m only a normal girl: not very big eyes, with glasses, black, long, straight hair…. I’m not very popular, but I have my best friends: Shirl and Mel. We’re all best students in our grade, but me, unlike my friends, they’re pretty, and I’m always like ugly duck around them, but I don’t care, I’m cool about everything except study….
  But not this time, when I first saw him, my heart stopped, he’s gorgeous! He just simply gorgeous! He got short blonde hair, a bit tall then me, and most of all, his gorgeous smile! But this unexpectedly meet in the mall with him was in August, and I didn’t even know his name….
“Well, that’s like a month ago, I can’t even remember what he looks like now. I think I’ll cool about it now.” I murmured to Shirl.
“Tomorrow it’s the first day return to school, we should focus on our study now, I think your hope’s gone, you don’t even know his name, how old he is, or what school he goes to etc. etc.” said Shirl.
“Well, I guess I just forget about him.” I murmured again.
“Oh, don’t be sad, Ivy, there will be plenty new ones coming tomorrow.” comfort Shirl.
“O.K….”
  Last night, I didn’t sleep so well; although Shirl slept like she will never wake up (I was having a sleepover). I’m worried; I worried about the first day back to Junior High, am I going to meet him? My “dream boy”? Well, get off it, I thought, I’m suppose to be cool, right? I’m not as pretty as my friends, they are stunner, but not me, I’m just ordinary, that’s all. Well, just face it. Today’s the day, first day back to Junior High! I’m so excited, we going to study lots of new things, especially for social, that’s my best subject, of course. The sad part is, Mel isn’t in my class, but I got Shirl in my class, at least I’ll have a friend to talk to when I’m alone.
“Ivy! Over here! Come with us!” Mel yelled over me.
“Oh, hi, you guys!” I turned around and joined Mel and Shirl.
“How’s it going?” Mel asked.
“Good. It’s a new year, you know, we got to learn lot’s of more new things.” I said.
“Oh, yeah, it’s going to be exciting.” Shirl beamed.
“What class are you in, Mel?” I asked.
“Oh, well,” Mel sighed. “I’m not as lucky as you guys, have a mate to talk to. I’m in class 2.”
“Don’t worry, Mel. We can meet you during the break and lunch time, to keep you company.” Shirl grinned.
“Yeah,” I added. “We still can have a sleepover or something.”
“Sure, yeah.” Mel still sound unconvinced.
  Just then, the school bell rang, we said goodbye to Mel, and hurried into our homeroom.
  I took a seat beside Shirl in middle of the class, and then I glanced around the classroom, usual posters: human bodies, star charts, animals, relationships around the world…. What? I saw a man sitting in front of the classroom: half bold, white hair, round glasses, wearing a golf shirt and normal pants, and most of all, his pot, it’s not enormous, but not hard to notice. The point is, who is he? I watched over to Shirl, she seems like noticed that, too.
“Good morning, class! I’m Mr. Kent, I’ll be your math teacher this year.” Someone over my left signed. The man continued. “Is everybody here yet?” He asked.
“Not yet.” A voice answering from the opening door.
Then everybody’s smiling of that answer and turned around, so did I. But, when everybody’s smiling, my heart stopped, and becoming frozen dead.

[glow=255,lightblue,2] The person who stood at the opening door was him! Oh, god! I’m in the same class with him! Ohmigod! I can’t breathe… He walked straight to Mr. Kent and gives him a note, Mr. Kent quickly read the note and stand up, said ”Welcome another member to our class!” Everyone clapped. He continued “His name is Cameron Bruce. Now, let him to introduce himself.”  Then Mr. Kent pushed him forward to the class, he hesitate for a few seconds, then said “Well, you all know my name, now. I was living in Toronto before I moved here in August.” “Shirl, that’s when I met him,” I whispered to her excitedly. Then he continued “I hope I can learn a lot more here and make more friends.” He finished up and moved backward little bit, and then everyone clapped again. Mr. Kent step forward and then said “Cam, why don’t you find a seat and sit down.” “OK.” And there he went.

1st Beginning
  He took a seat at a far end of the classroom, by himself. I was a little bit disappointed, though. There’s an empty seat right over the other side of me. Oh, get real, he’s new, and he don’t even know you, get over it. I thought. Maybe I’ll find a seat at other classes which is near him or he’ll somehow sit beside me… Wait a minute! What do you thinking right know? I asked myself. Is it study or boys? I definitely prefer the first one. I suppose to go to a good university, right? Besides, I’m still too young, how can I thinking about something else? But…. He’s simply gorgeous, he just simply are. And his gorgeous smile, how can I forget about that? I really can’t, oh, I can’t help myself to thinking about him. Oh, man. I’ll have to wait and talk to Shirl and Mel afterwards.
  
“Ivy, wait up! Why are you in such a hurry?” Mel yelled.
  “Come on, you guys! I got something to tell you. Come, over here.” I told them.
  We sat down at the shade of a really tall tree. And we lie down at its trunks, it’s our favorite spot in the campus.
  “What happened?” Shirl urged.
  I took a deep breath and then asked Shirl “Do you saw the boy who just got here this morning?”
  “Oh, yes. I remember him. He’s sort of cute, though.” said Shril.
  “He’s the one I told you about. The one I have a crush on.” I said.
  “Oh!” Mel and Shirl both said.
  “He must be gorgeous, to let have a crush on him. Shirl told me.” Mel teased.
  “I’m serious, Mel. It’s not funny!” I warned her.
  “Ok, what about him?” Shril asked me.
  I took a deepest breath, and then said “Do you think I should go near him?”
  Both Mel and Shirl gasped. “Oh, no. You really shouldn’t do that.” Mel said.
  “I agree.” Shirl said. “You can’t loose yourself over some boy. We only have one year to go to high school, remember? We need to study hard to go to University of Toronto together. We made a promise to go to there together!”
  “Yeah, I remember that. But….” I protested.
  “Then don’t forget about it. We really need to study hard.” Mel said.
  “Ok, Ok. I’ll forget about it.” I signed and watching at the clouds….
2nd Beginning
He took the seat right beside me on the other side. He sat down and smiled at me, oh, his gorgeous smile! My heart did a double flip and finally I smiled back to him.
  “What’s your name?” He asked me gently.
  “Well, it’s Ivana Louis, but my friends call me Ivy for short.”
  “Hmm, Ivana, good name.” He smiled again.
  I did another double flip and trying to find a subject to talk with him. “Why did you move here from Toronto?”
  “Well, my dad found a better job here, and he heard the schools here are better the one I’m staying. So, my family moved here.”
  “Hmm, fascinating.” I replied.
  The bell rang suddenly, it means the first period ended.
  “Well, see you later.” I told him.
  “Ok, see you” He called back.
  “You seemed to be hyper today, Ivy.” Mel asked furiously.
  “Well, it’s nothing.” I protested.
  “Oh, I know.” Shirl said. “Who’s the guy you’re talking to first period? Is he the boy you met at the mall?”
  “You know that already.” I murmured.
  “Ha, I knew it!” Shirl screamed excitedly.
  “He must be really gorgeous.” Mel added.
  “How did you know?” I asked.
  “You hardly have a crush on anyone who looks so-so.” Mel teased.
  “Oh, shut up. Mel.” But I beamed.
  “But seriously, Ivy. Are you sure about the guy? You barely know him.” Shirl asked.
  “I’m sure about Cam, he’s gorgeous. Don’t you see?”
  “Yes, I saw. But are you sure?” Shirl asked again.
  “Oh, don’t get too old, Shirl.” Mel said “If Ivy’s sure about Cam, then we have nothing to worry about her.”
  “OK” Shirl still sounded unconvinced.
  “Don’t worry, Shirl. I will let you see the real Cam.” I said confidently.
  “Ok, then.” Shirl finally smiled.[/glow]

1st story
Yeah, forget about Cam, right, its easier say than done. Now, what am I going to do now? Just leave him? But we are in the same class! How can I forget him when he’s in my class?! That’s ridiculous! I thought on my own way home. I can’t just ignore him, he sits beside him at history! What am I going to do? What am I going to do…? Suddenly, I’ve got an idea: Carol is my best friend on the net, we’ve been talked a lot over the internet, and she’s just older than me for a year, she must know a lot more than me, if she said that I must thinking about the study now, I’ll do it without regards. Right, I thought, that’s what am I going to do. If three of my best friends said the same thing, I’m definitely going to forget about him.
It seems like to be a pretty long trip back to home, but my home is just four blocks away from school. Oh, man, boys, makes me crazy. I got to make up the time I lost, so I give up the usual routine when I got back home: wash my face, listen to the music for a while and I must pour a cup of Coke for myself. Of course, I didn’t forget about Coke, but I can’t listen to my favorite music for a while, but I can listen to them later, talk to Carol is the most important thing. I opened my laptop carefully, although my parents aren’t home and they don’t forbid me to go on the internet to chat, but I still acted like a criminal, because I suppose to finish my homework first. I tried not to make any sound and open my MSN. Oh, man! Nobody’s online, even for Shirl and Mel. Oh, I almost forgot, they’re doing their homework, unlike me. I beamed for a while, and then turned to a laugh, at last, I turned the laugh into tears, and I couldn’t control myself. But suddenly, I realized that my parents will be home soon, I tumbled to close my laptop and run into my room to finish my homework. Just as I sat down at my desk, the door knob turned. Whew, that was close. I thought.

Just when I finished my homework, Carol went on the internet, too. I was so excited, I told her all about how I feel about Cam, how Shirl and Mel reacted about it, what did they say about it, and I asked her what am I going to do next. She heisted for a while and told me: “Ivy, you know that Shirl and Mel are right, you’re still too young and so am I, our goal for the future is the first thing you need to worry about, not boys. And besides, I hate them.” I went quiet, I know why she hates them, that’s not my fault, and it’s hers. But I think she’s right. Well, if they all say that, I’ll just ignore him, I trusted my friends about the decisions. It’s kind of hard, but I’ll try, it’s worth it. I signed.

2nd story
  Well, today is a fascinating day, not only because I have the same classes with Cam in the afternoon and it’s the first day of school. Well, actually, because the first reason. Oh, well, I told Shirl and Mel to show them the real Cam, but could I really do it? I don’t really know him, it’s just the first day of the school year, and he’s new. And he doesn’t seem to talk much, well, maybe it’s because he doesn’t have any friends here. That’s what it is. Now, how can I show them the real Cam?
   
As I’m thinking what I am going to do next, I suddenly found out that I’m standing in front of my house. I walk up to the front pouch and thinking that was a pretty fast trip, maybe all this thinking made the time past quickly. My parents aren’t home yet, they are supposed to come back at 5:30. I put down my backpack on my bed, washed my face and hands and then I went to the kitchen, I got out my favorite flavored chips and poured a cup of Coke, snacks are my favorite thing. I sat down on my bed, eating the snacks and listen to my CD, oh, I really wish this could last forever. But suddenly I discovered that it’s darker than before, I swift to get up and quickly put away all my snacks and hide them in my top speed. I sat on my table weightless, trying not making any sound, and quietly take out my homework and working on it in silent. I know I acted pretty much like a criminal, well, that’s the best way don’t let my parents know what I am doing. They just that way, always want to know what I am doing. It’s not fair actually, but I don’t really care.
At last, I complete my home work. And the first thing I want to do after finish my homework is going on the internet and talk to my best friend on the net-Carol. She’s only a year older than me, although there’s an age difference, but she can give me some very good advices and I can even give her some of mine. I got on the MSN and told her all about today’s amazing situation. All she said is
“Just hold on for a while, Ivy. You still don’t know really well about him, and how come you have a crush on him if you just met him?” She asked furiously.
I abruptly felt my face grew hot and then I saw Carol beamed and said “Ha, how come you’re blushed?”
“Oh, get off it!” I told her through the web camera.
“Don’t worry, Ivy. You will just wait for a while and then you can decide what you are really going to do. That’s my suggestion, at least.”
“Ok, I’ll wait.” I replied happily.[/glow]
